Just another bike ride… .
So we were on our way home from storytime today and Toby decided he didn’t want to ride on the sidewalk anymore, he wanted to ride on the other side of the street. I told him he needed to stay on the sidewalk but instead of listening to his wise mother, he took off like a rocket down the road. Somehow his flip-flop flopped off his foot and instead of using his breaks to slow down before getting it, he decided to use his feet.
Notice the big chunks of skin taken out of his toes! He cried all the way home and I knew something had to be wrong. We even had to get the skin scissors out to remove some of the skin that had been peeled back. Needless to say, I really hope he knows the importance of using his breaks to stop instead of his feet. Oh, and also listening to Mommy!!!!!
