The Kunz Car Wash
A few weeks ago we were in WalMart and our kids saw some baseball mitts. They talked us into buying them but being the cheap people we are, they couldn’t just get them, they had to earn them. So we decided that they needed to do an extra chore to earn their mitts. They washed the Jeep today and finally got their baseball mitts.
They were funny about the cold water we used to wash the car and about getting wet. Never mind that they will run fully clothed through the sprinklers when we tell them not to! I had a great time doing this with them and I think it will become a regular chore for us in the summer.
They were so proud of the job they did. They even got most of the bug guts off the front! Their favorite part of the whole process was spraying the suds off with the hose.
We couldn’t leave Gage out of the fun! He hung out in his tent and played with some toys. He thought it was really funny when Brinci got excited dropping the sponge in the water and ended up with suds all over her front!
Here they are showing off their new mitts! Hopefully we won’t have any black eyes in the next few days!
