First run since my strained muscle
I ran 5 miles today. It was the first run I’ve had since Thursday when I had a little injury. The run went well, I felt some minor discomfort in the area, but nothing to alarm or surprise me. I kept my pace down, I was around 8:30/mile, so a full minute lower than I’m hoping to run this weekend.
After the run I realized I didn’t bring any supplies to help me ice down. I quickly improvised by getting a garbage bag and putting ice in it before lowering it down my pants. I’m glad no one saw me!
