A pretty fun day so far
We’ve had a pretty good day so far. The day begun with Min getting in a 5 mile run. I wish I too would have been able to run, but I’m taking it easy until Monday due to my slight injury.
After breakfast, and doing a few odds and ends around the house we went to run errands on our bikes. We began by going to Dick’s drive-inn for ice cream (we had coupons). Brinci and Toby had root-beer float ice cream cones, Min and Gage shared a slushy (it was phe free), I had onion rings. Our next stop was the grocery store were we bought a few items and headed off for home. It was pretty uneventful other than I’ve never seen a kid (Toby) that can crash so much while using training wheels. Although he scraped himself up a bunch, he didn’t ever cry. My main regret was that I forgot to bring along my camera as we had a great time.
This afternoon the kids talked me into going to the Tree. The Tree is a nice big tree in our neighborhood that all of the neighbor kids seem to enjoy playing at. It is perfect for climbing and Brinci and Toby did just that. There are a bunch of pictures posted on our flickr account for anyone who wants to check them out.
After the tree, I came home and processed a few photos including uploading more of Gage’s birthday. Those photos can be found in the Gage Birthday photoset.
