A fun night with Toby
Last night Toby and I had the opportunity to spend a bit of time together. Emily had scheduled me to go to the WBR team captains meeting since she is out of town and so I decided to take Toby.
Travel, Shopping, and Dinner: Toby and I started out by leaving at 4ish from Kamas. Our first stop was at Shopko to pick up a bike trailer for Gus. While there Toby and I wandered the store and had a good time playing with the toys. After Shopko we hit Carl’s Jr. I ate a burger, Toby ate some chicken stars then he and I shared some fries. We then hit Sams Club then found parking for our meeting up by the Delta Center.
Our first turn of bad luck: It turns out we parked a long way from any entrance that was unlocked and ended up walking all around the Salt Palace to the main entrance on West Temple. While walking so far Toby commented on the fact that he is now walking so well that we can go hiking together. I was glad he is looking forward to that.
Our second turn of bad luck: Our meeting got rather hot and before I knew it Toby had his shirt off and his pants undone. The lady sitting next to us got quite a kick out of him. Although I made him put his clothes back on, I too got a kick out of it.
We made it home safely shortly after 9pm. Even though we had a bit of bad luck, we had a wonderful time and the bad luck only added to the fun and memory of the evening. I’m glad I was able to hang out with Toby. He is a fun and funny boy.
