A few days ago I realized that Brinci and Toby both had loose teeth. I told them that whoever got their tooth out first could be the king or queen of the day after school. So the race was on. Toby tried to wiggle his tooth and Brinci tried to wiggle hers. Brinci tried a couple of times to get me to yank hers out but the crying was too much for me. Toby wouldn’t let me touch his.  Well tonight Toby was eating a slice of apple and all the sudden started yelling. I looked over at him and he had blood coming out of his mouth and a cute little hole! We did the happy “you lost a tooth” dance and had him spit the tooth and apple out on a plate!  He thought he was really cool.  Well, Brinci couldn’t stand the fact that Toby did something without her so she had me pull her tooth out tonight too.  She was very brave the whole time I was pulling and didn’t cry once, even though she really wanted to.  I told Brinci that since Toby got to be her boss tomorrow, she could be mine. Should be a very interesting afternoon!  After the kids were in bed I found out that our next door neighbor also got his tooth pulled out tonight since he heard that Toby got his out. So needless to say, the Tooth Fairy will be very busy tonight in our neighborhood!

Meet the newest member of our family: BOB!  He gets to be the one we yell and hit at from here on out! The kids are really excited for it.  I am too. Hopefully this will keep you all from getting pummeled by me!!

I was attending a Time Out For Women in February and had a wonderful neighbor of mine watching the kids. I was almost on my way home when I got a call from her informing me that Gage had decided to play Superman and was now going to require stitches!  She took him to the clinic and got him sewn up and by the time he got home to me he was so proud of his stitches and the fact that he didn’t even cry!  What a silly boy!

Christmas Fun

We have had fun so far this Christmas season. It started when we got home from Thanksgiving with my family. Some wonderful neighbor had put up Christmas lights on our house!!  I still haven’t found out who it was and probably never will. But if you happen to be reading this THANK YOU!!!  We also had an anonymous box of money left on our pourch a few days ago.  I am brought to tears every time I think of it. We have such a great support system here and such wonderful family supporting us. Thank you everyone!

We set up the Christmas tree and decorated it on the Monday after Thanksgiving. It was a little bittersweet doing it since Jer wasn’t here to tell me what a good job we were doing.  He was never one to actually participate in the decorating, but he was always a good cheerleader!  We missed him a lot that night but the kids did a better job handling it than I did!

The next fun thing we did was go to our ward Christmas party.  Santa showed up and it was so much fun. Brinci and Toby are actually brave enough to talk to him now but Gage was petrified. As soon as Santa came into the room Gage started crying and wanting me to hold him. Then he said, “Santa scary!!!”  It was quite hillarious.

We decorated gingerbread houses last night thanks to another wonderful neighbor. She came over with a huge sack full of candies and 3 “extra” gingerbread houses.  So the kids and I decorated houses last night. It was a lot of fun.

We plan on going to Temple Square to see the lights sometime.  We also plan on watching a lot of Christmas movies!  Those are my favorite.  Hope that all of you are having a  great Christmas holiday as well.

1000 Miles For Jer

After I inputed Jer’s last two runs from the Vegas Ragnar, he had a total of 970 miles. I realized that I could get my 1000 miles and possible finish his as well this year.  My runs since I hit my goal have been dedicated to Jer. That has been both good and hard!  It’s been nice to have something to work toward but the whole time I’m running I’m focusing on how Jer would run it, or what Jer would tell me to do.  This morning I fiinished Jer’s 1000 miles.  I will continue to dedicate the rest of my miles this year to my wonderful, supportive, amazing husband.  Thanks again babe for giving me something to work toward!

Another Goal Accomplished

Jer and I had decided that by the end of this year I would be able to have at least 1000 miles logged.  Today I reached that goal!!  I wish that I could see Jer’s face when I told him, but I’m sure he’s smiling big.  There is no way I could have done it without his encouragement and help.  He had to take over morning duties many Saturdays for me to get my miles.  Thanks Jer for helping me so much!  Thank you, all who read this, for continuing to encourage me. I doubt I will get this many miles again, but it feels really good to have it done!!
