Running Stats through July
It has been my goal this year (2008) to run at least 100 mile every month. July was the month I was quite concerned about in regards to this goal. I only was able to run 3 weeks out of the month due to backpacking. Today I went over 100 miles.

Back to real life
We’ve been gone for a week up to Idaho. Min and the kids stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Cox while Wade, Chris, and I went backpacking in the White Clouds (more about that later). After the shortened trip, we attended the George Family reunion. It has taken us a bit of time to get everything back in place at home, but we are back and will continue to post to our blog a bit more frequently...

A really funny thing was said last night at dinner. For the full effect, however, I have to backtrack a few months. The kindergarten classes here always put on a Piggy Opera, they have speaking parts and sing songs about the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf. Saturday was my birthday. It was a wonderful day.
We began the day with my birthday breakfast (I really milk the most out of the day) of donuts and bacon! After the breakfast, Dave came over and played crack the egg with Brinci on the trampoline. Her hair was so static filled.

Dave's Lacrosse Game
As seen from this post, we attended a lacrosse game that Dave was playing in. He really enjoys lacrosse and we enjoy watching the games even if we do go too seldom.

Fun on the lake with the Brown Family
Today Mike Brown’s family and our famiy went boating at Jordanelle. I’m not sure that is spelled correctly. We had a blast. As soon as we get pictures for Carrie (Mike’s wife) we’ll post about our trip.
