This is Brinci from her Spring Recital. She was one of only a few that had her piece memorized! She is doing such a great job on the piano.
This is Toby’s Creative Challenge dance for this year. I was glad there were a whole lot less hip movement this year! It’s kind of funny watching 6 yr. old boys try to coordinate their movements!

A Missionaries Blog
Hello Everyone! I am posting a link to Elder Uncle Wade’s blog! He is such a spiritual giant and such a great example to me. His latest post was about Jer. Check it out only if you want to cry! http://elderwcoxnyrm.blogspot.com/ I am so very grateful for the man that Jer is. I am so grateful that he took a chance on a lowly farm girl and taught me so very much about life and how to live...

I’ve been a bit obsessed lately about the concept of “enduring to the end” I really like this poem and it explained to me a little bit about what it means to endure. I hope you’ll take the time to check it out.

Christmas Fun
We have had fun so far this Christmas season. It started when we got home from Thanksgiving with my family. Some wonderful neighbor had put up Christmas lights on our house!! I still haven’t found out who it was and probably never will. But if you happen to be reading this THANK YOU!!! We also had an anonymous box of money left on our pourch a few days ago. I am brought to tears every...

1000 Miles For Jer
After I inputed Jer’s last two runs from the Vegas Ragnar, he had a total of 970 miles. I realized that I could get my 1000 miles and possible finish his as well this year. My runs since I hit my goal have been dedicated to Jer. That has been both good and hard! It’s been nice to have something to work toward but the whole time I’m running I’m focusing on how Jer would...
Another Goal Accomplished
Jer and I had decided that by the end of this year I would be able to have at least 1000 miles logged. Today I reached that goal!! I wish that I could see Jer’s face when I told him, but I’m sure he’s smiling big. There is no way I could have done it without his encouragement and help. He had to take over morning duties many Saturdays for me to get my miles. Thanks Jer for...

Middle of the Project
We are currently in the middle of our remodel project. It took forever to get the wood here and then it needed to acclimize to our humidity so it’s been sitting in our house for 3 weeks. Then with the funeral and everything it got pushed back. So we are finally getting it done. AllWest has been helping with it and Mark is going to come supervise. Those guys are way faster at tearing out...

Remodel
So we have been doing some pretty fun stuff around our house the last few weeks. We have been looking into getting hardwood floors for a while but have been waiting to save up the money. Well, with the economy how it is these days it will be cheaper for us to do the hardwood right now than it would be to put in Pergo! So we ordered the wood and it should be here in a few weeks. We had to redo...

Such A Slacker!
I apologize that it’s been so long since I posted. I’m trying to figure out some different things with my pictures and so I haven’t done anything! Anyway, I was reading through the blog that Jer’s family has and there were a lot of posts about the Wasatch Back Relay Race and what was happening with that. We were all scared and not sure what to expect. Flash Forward to this...

The Moment We Had Been Waiting For
Last year Jer and Toby went on a little expedition together. They did some male bonding by screaming and yelling over MONSTER TRUCKS!! They had such a good time, they decided Brinci and I should participate as well. Last Friday we all went to the Energy Solutions Arena and watched monster trucks! It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, Toby was a bit under the weather and couldn’t enjoy it as...

Mom's Christmas Present to Me
To see what Mom got me for Christmas and what I’ve done with them, please check out the following post: http://www.jerandmin.com/2008/12/26/cokin-filters/. Thanks Mom!
Toby
I just posted a blog entry featuring a series of Toby pictures on http://www.jerandmin.com. Check it out at http://www.jerandmin.com/2008/12/22/toby/.
Deliverying Christmas Goodies
Today we went out and delivered Christmas goodies to our neighbors. Brinci and Toby had the responsibility of running the goodies to each door we came upon. It was fun to watch them talking to each person who came to the door. They seemed to be having a great time.
More Blogs
So I just realized why I haven’t been seeing any blogs from Jer lately! He’s been very faithfully posting on jerandmin.com. So please check out that blog as well. You can see he is becoming very good at his new hobby! I will try to find time to post about our Christmas fun, but until then, check out the other blog! Merry Christmas!!
Two Weeks Together
So I am a big slacker!! Between the packing for Thanksgiving and the unpacking after Thanksgiving, I didn’t get my last two weeks of thanks in. So I will get them in now, two at a time.
I am very thankful for a wonderful place to live. This includes all the many wonderful people that we get to associate with. I have many friends that I don’ t know what I would do without. There are...

Random Thoughts
I really love Library day! My kids sit for a really long time after getting new books, just looking at the pictures and guessing what the story is going to be about. Brinci actually reads the books, Toby looks at the pictures and he usually has the story figured out by the time I read it to him. Gage even gets in on the fun. He is starting to really enjoy looking through books instead of just...
2nd Week of Thanks
This week I would like to focus on being thankful for modern medicine. Because of so many smart, wonderful people, my son is able to live a normal life! He doesn’t have a “normal” diet, but he has a normal life. I’m so glad there are people out there who are willing to do the research and put their time in to trying to help people. Without these selfless people, our...
Season of Thanks
I’ve decided that since it is November and that seems to be the time of year we focus on what we are thankful for, I am going to post a blog every week about something that I’m thankful for. I am going to start with family.
I am thankful most of all for a wonderful husband who does more for me than I ever give him credit for. I am thankful for the things he teaches me and for the...
A HUGE MILESTONE!
This post is a little overdue, but I’ve heard that it’s better late than never, so here goes. For years now we have been waiting for something to happen in our house and finally, two weeks ago it happened. Here is the result:
Yes, Brinci lost her first tooth! She was getting ready for church and all the sudden she started shrieking (as only a 6 yr. old girl can) I thought for sure...
Halloween Pics
Well, here are the obligatory Halloween pics. We had a blast. Brinci was Hannah Montana, Toby was Batman, and Gus was a rooster.
We had to throw this picture in as well because it was so cute of Toby.
We have quite a few more in our Halloween set on flickr however, we’ve made them only viewable by family. We don’t want to bore anyone. If you are family (you know who you are)...

Pumpkin Carving
Here is another cross post from Jer & Min Photography. Last night we carved pumpkins and had a wonderful time. Check out the photos at http://www.jerandmin.com/2008/10/30/pumpkin-carving/.
PKU
Typically this would be posted on our personal site, but I decided to post the photos on our photo blog (http://jerandmin.com). Anyway, check out our PKU post here.
A fun little excursion
Today Brinci, Toby, and I had a fun little excursion to a place I’ve not visited in quite some time, the Diversion. The Diversion is a place where the water diverts from the Weber river down a canal which then provides irrigation for the Kamas Valley. In days gone by, Min, Paul, Klint, and I would go there and swim. It was a blast.
Today the water was too low to swim, not to mention the...
Trying New Things
I have been wanting to make pie for a long time, but have been to scared to do it.At the last Relief Society broadcast, Pres. Uchtdorf said we should try to do new things without letting the results stop us. After listening to that, I decided to buck up and just try it. So I did! It turned out a lot better than I had hoped. I found a really yummy recipe and Brinci was nice enough to tell me it...
Toby's latest escapade
When Toby was younger, he used to play a game called “where did I fall asleep?” I thought that he had outgrown this game until tonight. I had put him in timeout right before bedtime and when Brinci went to do her night things, she hit him with the door. She came out to the kitchen where I was cleaning up dinner and said, “Mommy, I tried to open the door, but I can’t...

Playing outside
Gus is still not feeling well, he wants to be happy, but just can’t. Today we were outside on the trampoline. I happened to capture Min, Brinci, Toby, and Gus on film. It is pretty typical of how our family has been lately. Min and Brinci take the shot seriously and pose. Toby does whatever a Toby does. Gus is crying.
Gage or Toby?
So I found some pictures that are a lot of fun! It’s of my boys wearing the same outfit doing the same sort of thing. See if you can guess which picture is of which boy!
Picture #1
Picture #2
I’m sure you’ll figure it out but I thought it would be fun to see! Toby kept saying the picture of him was Gage, so maybe you won’t figure it out! Good Luck!
My 1st (and only!) Half Marathon
On August 23 I, Min, ran a half marathon!!! I even finished earlier than I thought I would! Thanks to Nate and KT giving us a place to spend the night, I was able to get a pretty good sleep. Nate then took me to the finish line where we boarded a bus and headed up the Canyon. Thanx Nate for all the great words of advice and just talking to me to calm me down. I was a lot more relaxed for this...
Bart Kunz reunion in full swing...
The Bart Kunz reunion is now in session. Min, Emily, the kids and I arrived in Star Valley at approximately 8pm Friday night. We’ve had a wonderful time so far.
Friday
We arrived. We ate some lasagna late when we got here, settled down and went to bed.
Saturday
The day began with a breakfast of “Dutch Babies”. The kids love these. After this, we got ready and headed up...
